About PACU

Uniting Palestinian farmers through cooperation and shared vision
About Us

Our Story

The Palestinian Agricultural Cooperatives Union (PACU) was founded in 2013 through the merger of three major agricultural unions. This unification created a single national body to represent and support agricultural cooperatives across Palestine.

Today, PACU brings together more than 105 cooperatives and over 15,000 farmers, both men and women, working to strengthen the agricultural sector and protect Palestinian farming heritage.

From its headquarters in Palestine, PACU connects local cooperatives with regional and international networks, including the International Cooperative Alliance and the Arab Network for the Protection of Herders. Through these partnerships, we expand opportunities for farmers, improve market access, and amplify the voice of Palestinian agriculture on the global stage.

Built on the principles of cooperation, solidarity, and sustainability, PACU continues to grow as a leading force in advancing agriculture, empowering rural communities, and shaping a more resilient future for Palestinian farmers.
